Okay just to warn you here, there is no fire documented in this webpage. Just so you know. So those of you sick, sick puppies here to see carnage can just... not see any. So there.

Neither was there any incident involving fire this summer... except when the camp fire on opening day didn't go completely out and I had drop a lot of JES' I was doing and run over to pour some water over it. But let's not dwell on that.

Honestly though. I had to go into Fox and get the bucket of dirty water and push it along and pour it over and I was scared I would either burn or drown the JES' and everyone would have to do them again and hate me... more.

Where was I? Anyway. Here we go.

Fire In The Disco

Towards the end of the summer we had some visitors come to camp. They came on cake day. Everyone was dancing away at the final dance, strutting their stuff and shaking their groove thangs ..... What? I'm hip. I'm down with the kids..... when the sirens started.

Emily does a terrible "neenah neenah" sound

What to do when a fire engine arrives and starts spewing water everywhere?

Jump in!

And what to do once everyone has gone in?

Play with the fire truck on put on the firefighter jackets and helmets!

Cheeky Laura!

And pose. Lets not forget the poses.

Boo - She's down with the kids!

I'm taking it all very seriously... squee!

Does anyone need rescuing?

The winner of the posing competition: Nata!

But you know, as all this was going on me and Boo realised that everyone had stopped dancing. Now we couldn't have that... so off we went to boogie on down!

don't blame it on the sunshine,
don't blame it on the good times,
don't blame it on the moonlight

BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE

Anyway, all good things must come to end so after everyone had had a chance of running into the water and exploring the fire engines, the good men of the Rock Hill Fire Department left a very happy, damp and kinda cold camp behind them.

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, adieu...
